This article will outline the commonly used terms within J+ Scribe to help you understand in more detail what each term means.
Allocation
A group of deliverables from a batch assigned at a specific stage to a specific content creator with the same deadline (also known as Assignment Group).
Deliverable
A single piece of content in a single language, which progresses through workflow stages and is delivered to clients (e.g. a single product description). Full deliverable information is available on the deliverable panel in J+ Scribe.
Workflow
A complete set of stages through which each deliverable must progress to reach the client (eg writing > editing > QA > client review > approved). You can also see the workflow stages of a deliverable on the deliverable panel in J+ Scribe.
Assignment
A single deliverable assigned at a specific stage (ie one deliverable within an allocation). This is sometimes referred to as a task.
Briefing field
These fields contain the briefing information attached to a specific parent deliverable (e.g. product name, code, colour / content topic, objective, angle etc.) These are displayed on the briefing panel in J+ Scribe.
Task Field
These are the editable text fields for you to work in when producing content on J+ Scribe. The task fields are defined by the content’s structure and they are often titled to indicate where each section of the content should be entered e.g. title, meta description, main body etc.
